Ecologia Oggi Spa has a thermal destruction system at Lamezia Terme in the province of Catanzaro that is authorized by the Calabria region for the disposal of special hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

The thermal destruction system is authorized by the Region with Integrated Environmental Authorization  – DDG (Decree of the Director General) No. 555 dated 02.02.2015, is active in the disposal of special hazardous and non-hazardous waste, in other words of solids and liquids, expired pharmaceuticals, and sanitary waste.

The system is completely automated, which allows the operators to limit manual operations to loading of the waste and equipment maintenance. The system is in Frasso Bragò, in the local council area of  Lamezia Terme and complies with the emissions levels required by current legislation and has a chimney emission capacity of 14.4 tonnes per day with maximum NCV of 4,500 kcal/kg)-.

In the same location there is also a regularly authorized sanitization and sterilization system for hazardous waste containers that are at risk of infection.
